The DIPLAT project was presented at the Aerospace Techdays 2016. The meeting, which took place in Lyon, offers to the members of the Aerospace Cluster Rhône-Alpes-Auvergne the possibility to present the latest innovations which will impact the aerospace industry. Diamoutils, member of the cluster and of the DIPLAT consortium, decided to present the results of the DIPLAT project. Jean François Bucourt (Diamoutils) and Josquin Pfaff (ETH Zurich) presented how pulsed laser ablation would expand the possibilities of tool manufacturer of abrasive surfaces for materialographic analysis, dressing and grinding tools and solid PCD drills and mills.
