Enabling advanced functionalities of Diamond and other ultra-hard materials by Integrated Pulsed Laser Ablation Technologies

DIPLAT is a collaborative, demo-targeted research project which shall mark the cornerstone of a new tooling technology. The project was launched on January 14, 2013 and will run over a period of 42 months. The Institute of Machine Tools and Manufacturing at ETH Zurich, Switzerland is responsible for project coordination.

The DIPLAT project has received funding from the European Union Seventh Framework Programme (FP7/2007-2013) under grant agreement n° 314731.
